It is anticipated that Apple will soon enter the foldable market. The Cupertino-based company may release a foldable iPad before a foldable iPhone, according to previous rumors.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst, has now suggested that Apple is unlikely to release a foldable iPad mini in its place. He accepts that a foldable iPad will be fundamentally more costly that the iPad smaller than normal, which could go with it a preposterous decision. Instead, it’s possible that Apple is developing a more expensive iPad.

Kuo speculates that Apple may be unable to offer a foldable iPad because of its higher price. Additionally, he believes that the Cupertino company is developing a more expensive iPad mini. By the end of 2023 or the first half of 2024, it is expected to begin mass shipping.

Prior to introducing a foldable iPhone, a previous report suggested that Apple might offer a foldable iPad. The price of this iPad model, which may fall into the “super-premium” category, is anticipated to rise in 2024. Apple may be hesistant about a foldable iPhone as they would need to set its cost around $2,500 (generally Rs. 2,07,000) to ward off any rivalry with the iPhone lineup currently in use.

In a related development, Apple recently introduced the new iPad models 2022 in India. The cost of it starts at Rs. 44,900 for the 64 GB Wi-Fi-just model and goes up to Rs. 74,900 for the 256GB version with Wi-Fi and Cellular. It has a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with a brightness of 500 nits and a resolution of 1,640 x 2,360 pixels.
