The Moto G 5G (2023), a forthcoming smartphone from Motorola, appears to have leaked. The most recent rumor suggests that a successor to the Moto G 5G (2022) may be on the way, despite the fact that the American manufacturer has not yet made an official announcement regarding the forthcoming model in the wildly popular G series of smartphones.
The leak shows a protective case for the Motorola Moto G 5G (2023), which suggests that the upcoming phone exists. Additionally, renders of the anticipated design and construction of the Moto G 5G (2023) are included in the leak.
Tuesday, images of a clear phone case for the Moto G 5G (2023) were made public by Slashleaks. The website Leakspinner, which has more than 100 confirmed leaks, is the source of the leak. The upcoming phone is shown in these renders, which show a flat body with sharp edges.
The leaked images also hint at a dual-camera setup at the back and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera in the top center of the screen.
A rectangular camera module with an LED flash appears to house the two cameras. Additionally, the module suggests a primary lens with 50 megapixels, similar to the Motorola Moto 5G.
The renders also hint at thin bezels, right-side volume and power buttons, and a metallic silver design and color variant. The Motorola phone depicted in the renders has a completely different design from the Moto G 5G (2022), which had a curved body.
In April, Motorola introduced the Moto G 5G (2022), which was later made available in Canada. In Indian markets, the handset is unavailable.
The 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) IPS TFT display on the Moto G 5G (2022) has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It has a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
